What's the Best Way to Sell My Piano?

Selling your used piano is a little like selling a used car. If you advertise it yourself, then you need to answer the calls and allow people to come and see it.
You could use free advertising, like Craig's List or a Pennysaver type of paper.
You could use paid classified ads in your local newspaper.
You could post "For Sale" notices at local businesses like music stores or supermarkets.
You could see if a piano dealer would want to buy it. This is the easiest, but you'll likely get less money for it than if you sold it yourself.
To price your piano, look through the listings on Craig's List or other sources mentioned above and see if you can find something comparable.
Having your piano in tune before you try to sell it makes it easier to sell because it will sound good. Also, the tuner can probably give you an idea of what it's worth.
